The UIS Telecoms Office provides a variety of communications solutions for the University, Colleges and allied institutions. Ordering of services is usually via a local Telephone Liaison Officer (TLO). Services that we offer include:
- Teams Phone. The university is moving away from its old Cisco CallManager phone system, and Microsoft Teams Phone is our new solution for staff telephony requirements.
- Mobiles. We maintain a corporate contract on the O2 network.
- Telecoms Liaison Officers (TLOs) get access to our delegated administration tool which allows them to make basic changes to devices.
- End user portal. Our My.Phone website allows users to manage some of their UIS Telecoms services including their Cisco desk phone & voicemail.
