Your Cisco 7961/7962 - 'feature' handset with more lines
All new handsets are capable of the following:
- displaying the incoming caller ID
- being configured into groups with other phones
- supporting some aspect of 'manager/assistant' working
- supporting upto 2 'side-cars', which have 14 additional lines/speeddial buttons
The default replacement for those with 'feature' phones. It has a larger display and more buttons than the 794x, making it easier to manage more multiple incoming calls.
Using your Cisco 796x handset
The features and call handling on the Cisco 796x is the same as the 794x, please refer to documentation for this model
